Emergency Dental Care in Borger, TX
If you're in pain or something has just happened to a tooth, call us at (806) 274-2285. We keep room in the schedule for emergencies and will get you in with Dr. Robertson as fast as we can. The longer a dental emergency sits, the worse the outcome tends to be — prompt treatment often saves the tooth.
What counts as a dental emergency
- Severe, persistent tooth pain
- A knocked-out tooth — partially or fully
- Cracked, fractured, or broken teeth
- A lost filling or crown
- Injuries to the tongue, cheeks, lips, or gums
- Swelling in the face or jaw
What to do before you get here
Call first — we can often give you advice over the phone that improves your chances. If a tooth has been knocked out, keep it moist (milk is ideal, or tuck it gently back into the socket if possible) and avoid touching the root. For pain, cold compresses on the outside of the face help more than heat. For a broken restoration, save the piece if you can find it.
If you've had a blow to the head or neck, go to an emergency room or urgent care first. Dental problems can wait until we've ruled out more serious injury.
